A Free Ralston Education Session: There are many privileges that come with age, but there are also losses. Loss is inevitable for older adults, and with loss comes grief. Losses are not only the deaths of family, friends, and loved ones; older adults also experience loss and grief as they begin to experience a diminished ability in activities of daily living. In this session, participants will learn the difference between finite loss and living losses, come to understand the universal feeling of grief and loss in aging, and discover ways to find support to help cope with age-related losses.

The speaker, Felicia Greenfield is a licensed clinical social worker and the executive director of the Penn Memory Center with nearly two decades’ experience in caring for older adults living with dementia and their family support systems.
