Welcome to East Falls Village!

A community within a community, the volunteer-driven East Falls Village was established in 2011 as a way to enable members to remain in the houses and community they call home.

Click “About Us” and “Benefits of Membership” on the menu for additional information.

We are part of a growing national movement with 205 open Villages and over 150 in development.  We are proud to be a member of the Village to Village Network, a national umbrella organization for villages.

Re-Zoom

We've collected the YouTube recordings of more than a dozen Zoom presentations, and put them on a new page. Click here to see them.

COVID UPDATE

As COVID infection rates c
ontinue to fall, the Village is resuming all face-to-face volunteer services - tech support, rides, small home repairs, and more. But the pandemic isn't over yet! Keep these points in mind:

-  Masks, vaccinations, and boosters are required for volunteers and members for any indoor services or rides.

-  Continue to avoid unnecessary exposure - keep distance between yourselves when you can. Get tech support remotely (or on your porch!) when feasible.

-  Be patient if requesting services - not all volunteers are comfortable yet with in-person services.

We continue to host many programs via Zoom. We’ve also resumed our Thursday Walks in the neighborhood and in other destinations where distancing can be maintained. All these activities are listed in our Calendar of Events.

Our Mission
We will work together to build a sustainable and supportive membership community by providing support, services, social and educational programs, and access to information that enables our members to continue to live healthy and meaningful lives in their own homes as they age.
