Tour of WHYY Studios

Go behind the scenes at WHYY, Philadelphia’s leading public media station! This tour may include an opportunity to observe a live radio broadcast of WHYY's call-in show, “Studio 2” with Cherri Gregg and Avi Wolfman-Arent. We'll go backstage and explore where award-winning radio and television come to life.

Learn about WHYY's rich history and mission. Meet and greet some of the dedicated staff who bring trusted news, insightful stories, and impactful programming to the region every day through television, radio, and now the Billy Penn newsletter. The special guided tour will run 60-90 minutes.

Getting There

BY TRAIN -In order to be on time (and in case of a train delay), we are recommending that people take the 9:49 am train from the East Falls  to Jefferson Station or the 10:13 train from Queen Lane station.

BY CARPOOL – We may be able to carpool from the library. If you can drive, please email info@eastfallsvillage.org.

Park in the Autopark at Independence Mall, 41 N. 6th St. or in the National Constitution Center Garage (enter from Race St. between 5th and 6th). Bring cash for the driver if you are carpooling.
