Sing the "Great American Songbook"
Sunday, February 8, 2 PM
Home of Wendy and Winston Moody
Members only. Free. Registration required.
100 years ago, Berlin, Porter, Gershwin, Kern, and Rodgers were composing songs that are still very much in the repertoire of contemporary singers, jazz artists, and movie scores. Why? Their timelessness.
Join other “Village Voices,” at the home of pianist Wendy Moody, to sing the "Great American Songbook" - a canon of the most influential American songs from the early 20th century. This is just for fun – you needn’t have a great voice to participate.
Song sheets and cookies will be provided.
Please register online or by calling or texting 267-444-4507 (M-F, 9-6). You will receive Wendy's address after you register.
