Are You Interested in Genealogy?
Everyone likes to know who their ancestors were and where they came from. But trying to find them is a different story. Some people truly love the search, the unraveling of the puzzle that is the past, while others don't. You are invited to a free 90-minute session that will help you determine whether you'd enjoy the hobby of genealogy. And as a bonus, you'll probably learn enough to find a new ancestor or two. This free class will help you decide if you want to take the eight-week "Getting Started in Genealogy" course that will be offered in the spring. Local genealogy instructor Mary Lee Keane is giving the presentation. It's on Tuesday February 11 from 1 to 2:30 pm at the Center on the Hill, at 8855 Germantown Avenue (in the Presbyterian church next to Chestnut Hill Hospital.)
Registration is requested. You can register or ask questions by emailing marylee@maryleekeane.com.
