What’s Bugging You?

Saturday, May 11

10:30 am

Falls Library

3501 Midvale Avenue

Learn about pest insects (fleas, ticks, bedbugs, cockroaches, mosquitos, and spotted lantern flies) - their life cycle, impact on public health, effect of climate change on them (and us!).

Dion Lerman, our speaker, will also discuss safe, effective control methods – the good, the bad, and the useless. If something is bugging you, bring a sample – he can identify it and answer your questions.

Dion Lerman is the Environmental Health Programs Specialist for the Pennsylvania Integrated Pest Management Program, a separate grant-funded program within Penn State Extension Services. He is an Associate Certified Entomologist, a licensed pesticide applicator, and has a Masters in Public Health from Drexel.

The program is free and open to all. No registration is necessary.
